Filler

Filler

An injection treatment that naturally improves volume and contour

WHAT IS FILLER

Not a treatment that fills, a treatment that restores balance

Filler is a treatment that places a substance with a skin-like viscosity into hollow areas to fill them and refine the contour.

DIVA uses dissolvable hyaluronic acid filler as standard. After a topical anesthetic ointment, it takes about 10 minutes.

CONSULTATION

The front and the profile, looked at together

Filling one area alone easily throws off the balance with its neighbours. We look at the front and profile together and separate what is needed now from what can wait. Where appropriate we suggest fat grafting or another method instead.

RECOMMENDED

If this is your concern, filler comes first

  • Apprehension about surgery
  • A wish for a fuller-looking face
  • Firmness and contour improvement needed together
  • Volume improvement in a short time

We do not pick the product first. We look at the spot first.

Filler is decided within the balance of the whole face, not one spot alone. We read the front and the profile together and fill only as much as is needed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

QIs there anything to be careful about after treatment?

For 3–7 days avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas and steam rooms. Avoid washing your face within 3 hours, and cleanse and apply makeup gently without rubbing. Do not sleep face-down, and refrain from pressure massage such as meridian massage for a month.

QCan bruising or swelling occur?

Redness, bruising, bleeding, itching or swelling may appear and usually settle within 2–6 days. If symptoms persist or worsen, please visit us.

QIf I don't like the result, can it be reversed?

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme if needed. DIVA uses dissolvable fillers as standard. It depends on the product, so please confirm at consultation.

QHow long does it last?

It varies from about 6 months to 2 years depending on the product, the area and your metabolism. We suggest a product suited to how long you want it to last.

QWhich is better, Korean or imported filler?

Ingredients, viscosity and longevity simply differ by product. Neither is inherently better. We look at the area, the goal and the volume you want, and suggest the right product at consultation.

QDo I need a separate follow-up visit?

It is a single treatment with no hospital stay, no suture removal and no separate follow-up visit. If bruising or swelling persists or worsens, please visit us.
